If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now: I love the fall! The changing color of the leaves and brisk winds may signal snow is coming soon, but before that there's plenty of time for strolls at parks now free from nasty black flies and mosquitoes. No more profuse sweating for just stepping outdoors, no more sunburn and better yet - comfort food such as apple pie with vanilla ice cream, pumpkin muffins, cider, etc., etc., etc! (yes, that was worthy of three etcetera)
Halloween is another interesting feature of the fall. While I don't go for the ghoulish in my festivities, I can appreciate a time of year where it's acceptable to dress up as half a horse and wrangle a friend into being the butt, or perhaps making use of that cosplay costume you thought wouldn't work out next year. Any way you hack it, costumes can be great fun!
I haven't been sketching as much as I would like recently, but I did find time for a couple fall themed sketches. In addition to these sketches, and as another way to help me get back up on the sketch wagon, I've joined The Sketchbook Project 2013 for the first time. I actually just got my sketchbook in the mail today, and I am very interested in starting it. I'll have to look over the categories again and see what I would like to work with.
